PS3 games also come on Blu-ray discs, which will begin to be a major factor in 2009 and 2010 as game developers learn to tap into that massive storage space. The result will be bigger, deeper, more content-rich games that fit onto one disc, or a full-length film on the same disc as a game.

Nintendo Wii, the best selling console in the current breed, costs $249 and it has outsold both Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 combined. Obviously, game publishers cannot ignore this fact and will eventually shift their priorities to Wii and Xbox 360 from the PS3, despite of the success of Sony’s PlayStation 2.
